Brightbit
Delivering software since 2015

We build software that runs your whole operation.

Brightbit Technologies turns complex, paper-heavy business processes into dependable software — web and mobile products, School ERP platforms, AI applications and research systems. One squad, a two-week cadence, and a demo you can click at the end of every sprint.

Every layer of software development

One partner, from the first workshop to the tenth release

We cover the full software development lifecycle. Pick a single service or hand us the whole stack — the same squad stays with you either way.

Web & product engineering

Customer portals, admin consoles and SaaS products built on Angular or React with a .NET, Java or Node.js API behind them.

Web engineering

Mobile applications

Android, iOS and cross-platform apps that work offline first and sync when the network comes back — built for field staff, parents and technicians.

Mobile development

Business process automation

Our founding practice: replace spreadsheets, WhatsApp approvals and paper vouchers with routed digital workflow and a live MIS.

Process automation

AI & machine learning

Document AI, forecasting, classification and assistive copilots — shipped with an evaluation report, a rollback path and a named human reviewer.

AI applications

Data engineering & analytics

Warehouses, pipelines and dashboards that give one version of the truth instead of four conflicting Excel files.

Data & analytics

Cloud & DevOps

Azure and AWS landing zones, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines and the observability to know before your users tell you.

Cloud & DevOps

QA & test automation

Regression suites that run on every commit, so a Friday release stops being a leadership event.

QA automation

Support & modernisation

Take over a legacy system, stabilise it, document it, then modernise it module by module without a big-bang rewrite.

The practice in numbers

What we actually spend our engineering hours on

Hover any bar, arc or point for the exact value, or open the data table under each chart — every figure on this site is readable as text too.

Engagements by practice

Delivery throughput per squad

Story points completed, by sprint

Delivery health, tracked in the open

These four meters are on the wall of every engagement review. Nothing is hidden until the end of the project.

Detailed project write-ups

Three platforms, documented end to end

Not logos and one-liners — each of these has its own page with the modules, the architecture, the numbers and what we would do differently.

e-School Management — 14 modules, 2,840 students

Admissions to alumni on one platform: attendance, timetable, examinations, fees, transport, library, payroll and a parent app. Fee realisation moved from 74% to 92% in two terms.

Four AI applications in production

Invoice and document extraction, demand forecasting, a support triage classifier and a policy assistant — each with a confidence threshold that routes uncertain cases to a human instead of guessing.

Education & learning

An academy that teaches the way we actually build

Brightbit has trained and certified engineers alongside client delivery since our earliest years. The curriculum is not a slide deck — it is the same backlog, review standard and definition of done our client squads work to.

  • 26-week engineering track — foundation, core stack, engineering craft, live project, placement readiness.
  • Five assessment gates. You do not move forward on attendance; you move on working, reviewed code.
  • Real reviewers. Your pull requests are reviewed by the engineers shipping client work.
  • Academic project guidance for final-year and post-graduate students, including research write-ups.
A 26-week learning path across five gated stages, with assessment weightage and completion rates for the last four cohorts.
The 26-week path: every stage ends at a gate, and each gate has a published rubric.
Internships — live application development

Start unpaid, earn a stipend, finish on-roll

Our internship is deliberately performance-linked and we say so up front. The first four weeks are an unpaid, structured bootcamp. From week five you join a real sprint team, and a stipend starts as soon as you clear the first gate. Sustain a strong band through week 24 and you get an on-roll offer as an Associate Engineer.

  • Weeks 1–4 · unpaid bootcamp with daily review
  • Weeks 5–12 · live project, stipend by performance band
  • Weeks 13–24 · module ownership, higher stipend
  • Week 24+ · on-roll offer for the top bands

A standard engagement: five phases, a fixed squad, and a two-week cadence.
How we work

No black box, no big-bang delivery

  1. Discovery workshop

One to two weeks with the people who do the work today. We map the current process, not the one in the manual.

  2. Architecture & estimate

A written architecture note, a module-level estimate and the risks named out loud before anyone writes code.

  3. Build in two-week sprints

Working software every sprint, demoed to your team on a call you can attend. Change your mind between sprints — that is the point.

  4. Hardening & handover

Load testing, security review, runbooks and training for your staff. Source code and documentation are yours.

  5. Support that answers

An AMC with a named engineer, a response SLA and a quarterly improvement plan.

Technology

The stack we know deeply

We deliberately go deep on a small stack rather than claim everything.

Technologies: Angular, React, TypeScript, Node.js, .NET and C#, Java and Spring, Python, PyTorch, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure, AWS, Docker, Power BI.

In their words

What working with us feels like

“Our fee follow-up used to take three staff and a week. It now takes one person and an afternoon, and parents stopped calling the office to ask for receipts.”

“They pushed back on the model we asked for and proposed a simpler one with a human review queue. It went live faster and we trust the output.”

“The intern they placed with us had already worked in a reviewed sprint team. He needed context, not training.”

Tell us the process that hurts most

Bring us the workflow your team dreads — the month-end reconciliation, the admissions rush, the report nobody trusts. We will come back with an architecture note and an honest estimate.
